Miami is a host to many events all year long, we got Ultra music fest, Marley fest, memorial day weekend but none have shown as much hospitality to skateboarders such as Art Basel.
With art week coming, there will be influx of wealthy Europeans whom actually use turn signals, traffic out the ass, hot foreign chicks, and of course galleries with paintings we can’t afford and quite possibly the two best words put together besides “we out” which are “open bar”. Once you’re done standing around galleries trying to figure out if what you’re even looking at is art. If you’re low on the dough but still trying to turn up we put together a guide to this week so you can wake up with a hangover and still have some bread in your pocket.

If you ever wanted some pretentious foreigners to finally accept the art that is skateboarding, here’s your chance to do it live. Artist Andrew Schoultz collaborated with the kind folks at Mana Wynwood and created “Infinity Plaza” a skateable art installation for the weekend. You can check out some of the pics below and RSVP here for a free drink. It’s free to skate all week and I’m sure Redbull will be there making sure you’re fucking amped with free carbonated cocaine.

When:Thursday December 1st 10pm-3am
Got some DJ Spinning at the TF on Thursday from 10pm-3am A Magazine Launch, and some art of course. Come get your skate and drink on. Most likely BYOB or Free beer. $5.00 Donation at the door because the TF ain’t free to operate but we can all spare that for a place to skate. Rsvp here

When: Saturday December 3rd 2pm-7pm
Skate Free and NYC arts organization Future Archives are hosting a party at Lot 11. That group of skating chicks from uptown will be there shredding. It’s free of course but donations are always accepted. Rsvp here

When: Sunday December 4th 9pm-2am
from passing 40 oz’s to all his friends at parties to a full on official get buck event, 40 oz van has created an event you don’t want to miss out on, especially when this is the first time the event hits the dirty south. It will be hosted at sidebar and yep, you guessed it, fo’ free.
